I have been cross stitching for the past 15 years.

It all started when I stopped smoking I needed something to keep my hands busy other than eating biscuits. A friend of mine gave me a small kit to try and I liked doing that so much that I made a few other small things but I wanted something a bit more challenging so when I saw my favourite hymn in a kit I had to try it. Well it took me 3 months to complete it and that’s when I knew I was hooked on cross-stitching. Its still my pride and joy.

From there I went to a local sale of work and sold some things so the next step was to join the A.C.A so that I could go and try my hand at craft fairs.

I am very happy now as I have a display area in the Crafts of Angus shop at the house of Dun where you can see a selection of my work.
